Tip #2: Simplify

It’s real easy to get lost in life’s busyness.  Don’t.  Give up things you don’t need and focus on the things that matter.  I am only indispensable to myself and to my family.  I’ve got to put that first, and then I can look outward to the other people around me.

Tip 3: Be Yourself

A lot of my struggles were because I was trying to make people think I was special by blogging, podcasting, and being a doctor. That’s why I put a lot of extraneous things aside so I could figure out who I am when I’m by myself, out of the eyes and judgment of others.  This is a priceless thing to know.

That’s all I’ve got time for, so now for the big news: The House Call Doctor podcast is going under new management.  Dr. Sanaz Majd, who has been podcasting as the terrific Girlfriend M.D., will be taking over as the House Call Doctor.  I think this is great! You’ll really like her.  And I’m not totally disappearing; I have already been asked to do a few cameo podcasts in the coming year, so stay tuned.

Again, I’d like to thank you all for listening.  I am sorry I cut off without explaining before, but better late than never.  I’ve really enjoyed doing this podcast and look forward to hearing how Dr. Majd made you all totally forget about me.
