Poem: The Hurl

April is National Poetry Month. That's why Grammar Girl is featuring poems about grammar, writing, and language. This week: If you're going to make a girl hurl, at least use the right word.

You feel seasick. Your head starts to swirl.
"Nauseated" is what you are, girl.
So you better be cautious;
The wrong word is "nauseous"
(Which is something that makes someone hurl).
