Guess which cheese contains more fat: Brie or cheddar? Surprise! Even though brie seems so much creamier, cheddar actually has more fat and calories per ounce. Hard cheeses like cheddar and parmesan have had more of the water pressed out, but all the fat remains behind! But if you’re watching calories this holiday season, it’s better to steer clear of the cheese tray altogether. 

Cheese contains around fifty calories per bite, which adds up awfully quickly. Instead, park yourself next to the vegetable tray (and no double-dipping!).
