Quick Tip: How to Hook Up with Local Growers Here in the Northern Hemisphere

Spring is now officially underway, which means that the farmers’ markets are starting up again in earnest.  And thanks to the growing popularity of the local foods movement, the markets are bigger and better than ever. You can search for farmers’ markets and local growers by zip code at LocalHarvest.org or at the USDA’s Farmer’s Market Directory.  For those of you outside the U.S, you’ll find international listings at Sustainabletable.org and www.openair.org/view/marketlist
