1000 Foods to Eat Before You DieMimi SheratonMimi Sheraton is a groundbreaking food journalist, the former restaurant critic for multiple publications including the New York Times, and author of sixteen books, including her most recent, 1,000 Foods to Eat Before You Die: A Food Lover’s Life List.

"Frozen Milk Ways and caviar" topped the list of close to 2,000 foods Mimi Sheraton brainstormed from memory while trying to pinpoint the 1,000 foods to eat before you die, and that, she believes, is what defines the range of dishes listed in the book, from the mundane and inexpensive to the exotic and luxurious. And while she could have picked 1,000 items from France or Italy alone, Mimi took care to select a true global distribution for food lovers to enjoy. In this episode of the Clever Cookstr, Mimi Sheraton discusses her process for writing her most recent book as well as her take on trends in the food industry.
