In my episode on organizing receipts, we learn that the best way to keep receipts neat is by taping them to sheets of paper and filing them in a notebook. But it’s work to sit down, get out the receipt file, and organize.

Make it quick and easy by keeping a receipt page next to your desk. When you sit down, it only takes 5 seconds to grab yesterday’s receipts and tape ‘em up. When a page fills up, add it to your receipts notebook. You’ll have all your recipts organized, and spend no time doing it! And when tax season comes around, you won't have to scramble and guess what you spent.
