A friend recently told me that the holidays are the most depressing time of the year for her since she’s single. The way she sees it, while others make out as the ball drops, every single person on the planet is dining alone at Le Café Sucksville.

To be fair, she is not quite the most objective person on this matter since she was recently dumped by a guy she thought was “the one.”
