Clean Your Microwave

Put some lemon slices in a bowl of water and microwave on high for about 30 seconds to loosen up the grime.

Lighten Your Hair

Squeeze a few drops of lemon juice onto a comb and then run it though your hair before sitting in the sun to get some natural highlights.

Fluff and Separate Rice

Add a little bit of lemon juice while it’s boiling. It will keep rice fluffy and separated without adding a lemony taste!

Make Lemons Last

The best way to make sure your lemons last? Keep them in a bowl of water in the fridge.

Freshen a Garbage Disposal

Just throw some lemon wedges (even used ones) in and turn it on!

Get Rid of Cauliflower Smell

Put some lemon juice in the water as cauliflower is cooking, and it won’t smell.

Freshen a Humidifier

Is your humidifier getting musty? Just add a few tablespoons of lemon juice to freshen it up and disinfect it.

Exfoliate Dead Skin

Sprinkle some salt on a lemon half, stick your elbow in the wedge, and move it back and forth to remove dead or discolored skin.
