Beth J. pointed out a funny spelling error in a brochure that referred to “our featured speaker … Susan (F.) who is a stone sculpture.”
That would be a pretty boring talk! A sculpture is a piece of art; a sculptor is a person who makes sculptures. Both words come from a Latin word that means “to carve.”
